In 2018, my mom was diagnosed with Leukemia.
Her diagnosis was a huge blow to me and my family, as she was incredibly active and healthy. Unfortunately, she developed a rare and difficult-to-treat genetic abnormality after her first round of intensive chemotherapy. My mom battled cancer bravely for nearly a year, before passing away in July 2019.
Losing a parent is never easy. I was particularly close with my mom. She championed me in my pursuit of art, and I wish she was still here to see my business grow. I know she would be proud of the progress I have made. To honor my mom’s memory and the support she continuously showed me, a small percentage of all online sales is donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, to aid in research on blood cancers.
